As with the history of most countries and continents, there are always men and women who prove themselves to be far superior soldiers and mercenaries than their comrades. These people, if they make the correct choices in their lives, can etch themselves into history as heroes (or villains), often becoming more shrouded in legend and myth than fact. One thing that is known for certain, though, is that many of the heroes’ weapons are immortalized for all time by the gods as a legacy to the heroes and their feats of greatness. Little is known about these weapons other than that many exist throughout Tyrancia and almost as many have disappeared, either stolen or lost to time. The only reason scholars know about these weapons is the brief periods of time when they crop back up before vanishing again, though this time with a new wielder and with rumors of being able to grant incredible powers. Recorded below are the known individuals with weapons and equipment that have been immortalized by the gods and the abilities they grant, if they are known.
Calletaian Heroes:
- Jackson Isamyna
- A rebel who fought in the War of Tyrancian Independence and was a key fighter in the sacking of the strategic Heinnerian held city of Cray. Described as a giant of a man with a shield and spear to match.
- Feats: Single handedly defended the entire rebel camp against a rush of Crajan troops. Earned the nickname "Stonewall Jackson" after this.
- Death: Competed with Oscar Chapnos for possession of Achilleus Potrotos' armor and lost. In a fit of frustration, slaughtered a flock of sheep, then committed suicide so he wouldn't have to live with the shame.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Believed to be his shield, which had changed from leather backed bronze to looking like a slab of stone with a red sheep's silhouette in the center. The shield is was light as a feather and has not been seen since it was stolen.
- Simon Drakodare
- A soldier who fought in the War for ARTI. Very humble and empathetic with an innate ability to discern people's true intentions.
- Feats: Slayed the leader of the bandits during the War for ARTI.
- Death: Tricked into drinking a potion that made him forget his betrothed, only for her to murder him when he married another woman.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Unknown, but some suspect it was his missing sword, Balmung.
- David "Davy" Crochet
- A former politician turned soldier who fought in the War of Daggdyrian Aggression. As much myth as he is fact, but either way, a crack shot with his rifle.
- Feats: According to himself, wrestled a Kar Daggdyr when he was 3 and once tripped and killed ten different animals.
- Death: Either died fighting off 13 Daggdyr in beast form with his knife or was captured and executed.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Many believe it to be his rifle, Ol' Betty, which is on display at the Fort Pappel memorial.
- James "Jim" Woibe
- A famed knife fighter who fought in the War of Daggdyrian Aggression. An incredibly tough and skilled knife fighter.
- Feats: Shot and stabbed twice in a brawl and survived.
- Death: Multiple death stories, but the most widely accepted is that he shot 12 Daggdyr and fought off three more with his knife as they entered his room while he lay sick in bed.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Many believe it to be his knife, which had been dubbed the Woibe Knife and is on display at the Fort Pappel memorial
Panthalassan Heroes:
- Caleb Gradrai
- A soldier who fought in the Panthalassan Barbarian War. An insanely fierce warrior that was said to survive on bloodshed alone.
- Feats: Mostly the entire reason Panthalassa was able to hold back the barbarian hordes.
- Death: Mortally wounded and tied himself to a stone to continue fighting until his inevitable death.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Likely his missing spear, Gae Bulg.
Baltican Heroes:
- Dermot O'Dyna
- A soldier who fought in the Reverbium War. An incredibly handsome and charming man who had combat prowess to rival the best of them.
- Feats: Was said to have slain a total of 9000 soldiers that opposed him on the battlefield.
- Death: Mortally wounded by a feral Kar Daggdyr and left to die by the hands of Finn MacCoul.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Most likely his twin spears, Gae Dearg and Gae Buidhe, as well as his sword, Moralltach, all three of which have since disappeared.
- Carson and Powell Theima
- Twin soldiers that fought in the Rutherhope-Woodyer Conflict, Carson, the son of a farmer, and Powell, the son of a nobleman. Both were skilled warriors, with Carson being skilled in horsemanship and Powell being an adept boxer.
- Feats: Powell took down the boxing champion of Avalonia, Amadeus, who was at least twice his size, and the two of them captured the territory and mother of Theodore Agenias, an Avalonian nobleman.
- Death: Ambushed and overwhelmed with Carson being killed by a sudden spear and Powell falling while he tried to protect his brother.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Could have very well been a gauntlet each brother wore that never seemed to age or grow weathered with time.
Laurentian Heroes:
- Harvey Dokichis
- A man turned soldier when he was forced into service under his cousin, Campbell Gallomere, as penance for the murder of his family. Said to be stronger than any man in Tyrancia and proved crucial in winning Campbell sovereignty over Laurentia instead of his brother, Edgar.
- Feats: Killed a feral Kisan Daggdyr with his bare hands and saved himself and his twin brother from snakes as children by strangling them to death.
- Death: Poisoned by Edgar in revenge for aiding Campbell. Different accounts on the true nature of his death, as some claim he was either ascended to heaven to act as its gatekeeper or taken to the Underworld to act as its enforcer. Most accepted account is that his last words were his wish to see his family again and apologize for what he did with a faint smile on his lips as he died.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Unknown, but many think they are his lion skin cape and club, both of which Edgar stole and hid away.
- Benjamin Kotar
- A soldier who fought in the False God's Deliverance War. A completely unmatched warrior in his day, with strength, wits, and agility beyond most men.
- Feats: Defeated the monsters Trundal, whom he killed with his bare hands and tore its arm clean off, Mumdal, the Damser that spawned Trundal, and a venomous, dragon-like creature.
- Death: Bitten by the dragon-like Damser before could slay it and perished because of the venom.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Likely his missing sword, Naegling, which was reforged after it was shattered, as the smiths who repaired it said it shined brighter and was sharper than any new blade they had crafted.
Avalonian Heroes:
- Achilleus Potrotos
- A rebel in the War for Tyrancian Independence and a key member in the sacking of the Heinnerian held city, Cray. Was said to be completely untouchable and invulnerable in battle.
- Feats: Defeated the soldier, Hector Dourippoc, in single combat when Hector had taken down many rebels single handedly, as well as being claimed to be indestructible.
- Death: Shot through the heel by Hector's brother, Alexander, pinning him in place and opening him up to more arrows piercing his chest, killing him.
- Weapons and/or Equipment: Most likely his missing bronze, leather backed chest piece, which was all that remained after Achilleus' body had been burned on a funeral pyre
- Finn MacCoul
- A soldier in the Reverbium War. A incredibly skilled warrior who was wise beyond most men and was adept at healing magic.
- Feats: Defeated a Calletaian berserker with his spear that he turned fire hot in the flames of fire mage, as well as holding back an onslaught of fire magic with his shield alone.

- Weapons and/or Equipment: Most likely his missing sword, Harpe, and shield, which disappeared after his descendant tried to make his own name with the weapons, only to die on the quest and lose the weapons to history.

- Death: Died disgraced and was buried with his sword, Hrunting, in the Laurentian Crypt of the Unworthy.

Each royal house has their own weapon, as well, with their abilities being granted to them by the gods at the same time as the five founders were blessed with their own powers. Royal house weapons are also forever bound to the bloodline of the original wielder.
Royal House Weapons
Hebaciem, the Sky Razor – A wicked sharp rapier originally wielded by Emrys Insata when Tyrancia was first discovered. As with most weapons and heroes, the feats of the blade are shrouded in mystery given its own incredible ability. Legends claim that the blade was sharp enough to cut through fog itself, but this is unknown. What is known, however, is that the blade is sharp enough to pierce most materials as if they were warm butter.
Mostator, the God Fist – A large war ax originally wielded by Josiah Balcomb when Tyrancia was first discovered. The ax was given the ability to generate enough force to crush and cleave even the densest materials and, combined with Josiah’s own monstrous strength, legends began popping up that the valley pass between the mountains was created when Josiah hit the side of the mountain range with his ax.
Lapitem, the Mountain’s Hide – A shield, bearing the crest of House Woodyer, originally wielded by Evelyn Woodyer when Tyrancia was first discovered. The least visually impressive weapon but one that still bears remarkable abilities. The shield is virtually indestructible, with it and Evelyn’s hardiness able to hold back a blow from Mostator. The shield could also be tossed as a projectile weapon and would always bounce back to Evelyn’s arm.
Acunum and Petrassima, the Claws of Nature – Twin daggers originally wielded by Arabella Gallomere when Tyrancia was first discovered. Arabella was the first inherently magical person to exist in Tyrancia’s recorded history, but even her abilities were limited to the standard eight magics we have today. With her daggers, however, Arabella could command the world around her, able to make plants grow or wither, control animals and trees to attack, etc.
Deissula, the God Splitter – A great sword originally wielded by Gwyneira Rutherhope. It is not the weapon she came to Tyrancia with originally, rather, the sword was fashioned from the bone of the Great Beast that stalked the wildlands before the five founders slew it. The blade is not regular steel, though it is just as sharp as any metal weapon and it never dulls. It is also the only inherently holy weapon in the world. Since it was fashioned from the greatest evil at the time, it bears the ability to permanently slay evil creatures, as opposed to only being able to banish them for a time.
